I’ve got to be honest, even before I started using this Amperna range, I was already sold by the packaging. After using the products for about 3 weeks now, I can safely say that it works wonders for the skin as well. There are a total of 5 products in the range:
001 Balance | Ultra Gentle Cleansing Soothing Cleanser
002 Hydrate | Lightweight Soothing+ Emulsion
003 Exfoliate | 10% Pro+ Resurfacing Lotion
004 Repair | Pro+ Vitamin C Hyaluronic Serum
005 Rescue | Probiotic+ DS Soothing Serum
There’s a whole document that you can read on when to use each product but it’s quite straightforward since it’s numbered for you.
There are a lot of steps just dedicated to moisturising your face, I must admit. However, unlike other products I’ve used, you don’t have to wait too long before applying the next step as it’s all absorbed quite quickly. What I found after a week or two of use was that my skin was feeling more fresh and it showed through my makeup.
This range is great for those with sensitive skin as it is 100% free from sulfates, animal derived ingredients, fragrances and synthetic colours. What it does include is a probiotic complex, glycolic acid and vitamins A, C and E.
I have deviated from their set regime a little, though. Personally, I find that the cleanser (001) is too lightweight for me. It’s a gel formula and it doesn’t create any suds or foam (which might be what you want!), but for me, I like something more hearty – if that makes sense.
The other variation I add in is using a toner, to remove any residual makeup that my cleanser may have missed, and then Kiehl’s Midnight Recovery Concentrate at night before starting with Amperna’s products. This concentrate is fantastic for making your skin look and feel amazing when you wake up, especially in winter when dryness is prominent.
I definitely recommend giving these a shot. First, read the regime guidelines and you may find that you might not need every single product – there are bundles you can buy that cater for that too! Head over to their website and check it out.
