The obsession with graphic tees has grown in recent months. That’s not to say it ever went out of fashion for the past decade. However, the trend is very much at the forefront again right now. The vintage stores in Sydney aren’t so great and when they are, they’re kind of expensive for being secondhand. I love online stores like ASOS because they stock kick ass styles for an affordable price. Graphic t-shirts give off such a cool streetwear vibe and can be styled so easily. The one thing to avoid, in my opinion, is getting tight-fitting cuts. Personally, I think it looks a bit tacky and throws the whole look off.
How to Style Graphic Tees
Styling a graphic tee can be super simple. Because I like to get oversized pieces, I’d generally wear something tighter for the bottom. Skinny jeans, booty shorts or even a bodycon mini skirt. You can also wear some baggy jeans for the ultimate cool girl look – just tuck the tee up to show a little bit of skin and accentuate your curves. It’s all about playing around with proportions. Even glam looks can be achieved with a graphic tee. Try wearing a high waisted silk skirt, tucking the t-shirt in and finish off the outfit with some strappy heels.
