That White Blazer Though
Everyone always tells you that your wardrobe should carry investment pieces. More often than not, these pieces are made by high end fashion labels - the kind of stuff that, if you're not raking in the dough, you would need to save up for months, if not years, to buy. By the time you save up all that money, you realise you could actually go on a holiday with the money you've saved to buy one thing. Yes, I do agree investment pieces are fantastic and I would love to have them. But, reality check, it's just not practical in my current situation (perhaps not even in my lifetime). So, I make do by browsing cheaper stores in hope that I can find my investment pieces for a lower price. I am proud to say that I was recently successful.
This white blazer was something I had been looking for. Structured, sleek and just enough subtle detail to make it stand out in my eyes.
You know when you can tell an item of clothing is perfect without even having to try it on? Yep, this was that moment. Of course, I did try it on just because that's sensible - and, no doubt, it was as amazing on as I thought it would be. Best of all, the price tag was to my liking - a cool $99.99. Sure, the material is quite thick, and we are in the middle a pits-of-hell sort of heatwave, but this could take me from Autumn, all the way to Spring - possibly even Summer, on the cooler days. And considering my office is ice-cold, this blazer could definitely be worn all year round.
Now the only thing I have to worry about is not letting my clumsy self get this baby dirty. I wish I bought it in black too but maybe next time.
Where to buy: Forever New ($99.99)
